A Journey of Discovery About Our Beautiful Natural World and the Salish Sea!

Hope in Action, the theme for Sound Waters University 2022, weaves a message of hope for the Salish Sea through education, research, and action. The symposium features distinguished environmental authors, change agents, researchers, and naturalists. Presentations and field trips will deliver in-depth information about the area's wildlife and natural history. The cutting-edge-information will infuse us with hope for a flourishing Salish Sea.

Join us for the 28th year of Sound Waters University. This hybrid educational event for 2022 is hosted annually by Sound Water Stewards, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of Island County. We will present virtual classes on Saturday, February 5 and in-person field trips on Sunday, February 6.
